Welcome to the Anglo Sikh Wars project

Karamsar Gurdwara trip to the exhibition

A special thank you to Rav Singh and the Karamsar Gurdwara, London for coming to see the Anglo Sikh Wars exhibition on 29/05/2017.

Rav Singh with his ‘A Little History of the Sikhs’ organisation ha supported the SMI through his walking tours across London. As a result he brought to Leicester,  a coach from Karamsar Gurdwara in London to see the Anglo Sikh Wars exhibition.

The children and parents were given a tour of Newarke Houses Museum as well as an in-depth introduction on the Anglo Sikh wars. The party then left to visit Guru Tegh Bahadur Gurdwara for langar.

It was enjoyable day for the party and the comments left by the children and parents were humbling to the SMI team.
